The Beaver Creek Bridge is a historical structure found on this ride.

Built in 1887, the Cold Springs School building is one of the oldest log school buildings in South Dakota.

The Gladys Nell Mine is evidence of mining activity in the area.

Highland Creek and Beaver Creek are water features to watch for.

Nearby the Historic Riffle Pit Wagon Train site, in April 1876, Indians ambushed a wagon train heading for Custer.
