These trails are situated close to a major Black Hills Lake and stream with three national forest campgrounds. The Dearfield lake and Ditch and South Fork Castle Creek are beautiful and the valley has incredible scenery.

Copper Mountain, Green Mountain, Hat Mountain, and Odakota Mountain are some of the defined peaks in this area.

This area is one more of the Custer Camps from 1874 on July 28.

The Silica Sand Mines are a favorite destination for many riders.
